Labour Register
You can enter details of labour resources, including times and related costs. They can be combined with a machine to form an operation.
Labour resources can be used in the Bill of Materials, Operations Register
-
You must enter Cost Headings.
Important! If you are using the full Manufacturing product, some information that you enter for the labour resource or labour resource group must be the same as the information you entered for the Cost Headings.
In order to be compatible for use with all Manufacturing modules, you must make sure:
-
The labour Nominal Code is the same as the one specified for the cost heading.
-
The labour Overhead Nominal Code is the same as the one specified for the cost heading.
-
The labour Overhead Recovery % value is the same as the one specified for the cost heading.
Note: If you select Perform Compatibility Checks on the Environment tab in System Settings and you choose differently, you will receive a warning prompt when you save a labour resource or labour resource group.
The Sage 200 Manufacturing module is now retired, from the Sage 200 Professional 2025 R2 release. We've retained the product help here for customers still using Manufacturing with older versions of Sage 200.
As the module is now retired there is no support from Sage. You can find out more about support in our product lifecycle (opens in a new tab). Please speak to your Sage Business Partner to find out more.
