Maintain Intrastat entries

Use Intrastat Entry Maintenance to view and update your Intrastat Intrastat is the name given to the method of collecting information and producing statistics on the movement of goods between Member States of the European Union (EU). An Intrastat is necessary for VAT registered businesses with a value of despatches of goods to other EC countries or of arrivals of goods from other countries exceeding a threshold. Sage 200 provides the information and reports required to make Intrastat submissions.  Intrastat is also known as Supplementary Statistical Declarations (SSDs), Intrastat Supplementary Declarations (ISDs), or Supplementary Declarations (SDs). entries.

There are several reasons why you may see Invalid entries (entries with a status of Invalid) listed. An intrastat can be invalid if:

  • There is no Commodity Code on the stock item.
  • There is no value (it is zero).
  • The Destination Country must be in the EU and not the same as the system Country Code.
  • There is no Nature of Transaction Code (NOTC).
  • There is no Mode of Transport Code.
  • There is no Country of Origin specified.

To maintain Intrastat entries

Open: Accounting System Manager > Intrastat (SSD) > Intrastat Entry Maintenance.

  1. Use the Intrastat entry details area of the window to select the Intrastat entries you want to display.
  2. Select the Blank code check box if you want to display entries whose commodity code was not known at the time of order creation or invoice.

  3. Click Display to view the list.

    Tip: To see more details in the window, click Show Columns.
