Working with BOM images

You can store an image with the BOM record and use the image in reports.

When the BOM is copied, the image is also copied. If the BOM is deleted, the image is also deleted.

Note: You must use Report Designer to include the image in your reports.

To work with BOM images

  1. In the New Bill of Materials Record or Amend Bill of Materials Record window, click Image.
  2. To load an image, click Browse.

    3. The Select Image window appears.

  3. Browse to select the image required and click Open.

    4. The image is displayed in the Image window.

    • To display the image thumbnail, select the Show Thumbnail check box.
  4. To clear the image, select the image and click Clear.
  5. When you have finished working with BOM A stock assembly and process costing system, which provides facilities to specify the structure of finished items in terms of sub-assemblies and components. images, click OK.
