History (BOM record)

Use this to view when the BOM was created and updated in Sage 200, and if you use version control, the version number of the BOM.

Note: This tab is visible if you select Keep BOM change history in Bill of Material settings General tab.

To view BOM history

Open: Bill of Materials > Records > New Bill of Materials | History.

History details show when the BOM was created and updated, and by whom.

Comments are shown if:
- A comment was added on the Save Revision window.
- The Change Status window was used to change the BOM status.
If you are using version control, history details show the version number of the BOM record you are viewing the history for.
- To show history entries for all versions of the BOM, select Show all history entries.
  
  Note: This may not reflect what you expect. For example, each time you undo changes, any physical changes you had initiated are discarded. However, a log of these changes is still stored on the history for the BOM record. Numerous created entries could occur in the history.
To save your BOM details, click Save.

Note: If you are using all Manufacturing modules, you have selected Perform Compatibility Checks in Manufacturing System Manager system settings Environment tab and you have compatibility issues, the Compatibility Warnings prompt appears.
