Manufacturing (stock item)

Find this screen

Open: Stock Control > Stock Records > New Stock Item

Open: Stock Control > Stock Records > Amend Stock Item

• Use the Manufacturing tab to enter BOM details for the stock item.

Costing

• Select a different Cost Heading, if required.

  The Cost heading will display the default from the stock item's product group.

  Note: You can only select a cost heading of the type Materials.

Processing

• Enter the default Scrap Percentage figure to apply when processing components in BOM.

  This is applicable if you have chosen to calculate scrap in BOM Settings (in the Sage 200 desktop).

• Select Bulk Issue if you want to handle stock movements manually for this component.

Order batch quantities

• Enter the Minimum order quantity for the stock item.

Note: You cannot enter a value for a phantom item assembled using a bill of materials (BOM).
