Delete archived stock history

If you have archived your stock transactions, you can permanently remove these transactions from the Sage 200 database.

Note: Once you have removed your archived stock transactions, you cannot produce a retrospective stock valuation report for that date range.

To delete archived stock history

Open: Stock Control > Utilities > File Maintenance > Purge Archived Stock History.

  1. Specify the age range of archived transactions to be removed in the Purge all transactions with a date up to box.
  2. Click OK. All archived stock history transactions up to the date specified are removed from the database.
