Set the target action (assembly)

If you are adding or editing a target A target is the action associated with a feature. Each feature must have a target in order to do something. For example, a target could be to open a form (window), produce a report, run any OS Invocable (any application or process you can access through the Run option in the Microsoft Windows Start menu), open a workspace (an area on your desktop which can contain several panels of information from Sage 200 modules), or open a content part (an area of a workspace). All features installed with Sage 200 and with any add-on packages have targets added automatically. and the Target Type is a Form or List (or Desktop List) for the Sage 200 desktop, then you must select the form or list to associate with the target.

You can display your own custom form from an assembly A collection of Sage 200 or third party forms (windows)., or display an existing form from the Sage Sage 200 assemblies.

Note: If the form (page) is only available in the Web Portal and not the Sage 200 desktop, then you don't need to set a Target Action. You must set the Web Portal page in the Target Web URL

Note: The List target type used to be named Desktop List before Sage 200 Professional 2023 R2.
