Viewing a breakdown of costs
Graphical cost breakdown can be viewed in Bill of Materials or Works Orders, by clicking the required Breakdown button.
In the Latest Costs tab in BOM A stock assembly and process costing system, which provides facilities to specify the structure of finished items in terms of sub-assemblies and components. details, you can see a breakdown of costs or of overheads.
Note: The unit cost of a manufactured item depends on the batch size. This is because setup and subcontract operations Work tasks that are subcontracted to external organisations or to other internal departments within the organisation. costs are shared by all units in the batch.
In batch works orders, using the Latest Costs tab, you can see a breakdown of planned costs or actual costs.
To view a breakdown of costs

In the graphical Breakdown window, perform any actions that you want to with the chart.
Note: Use the chart Help option to understand what you can do with the chart.
