This is because these orders haven't been posted yet. Posting orders updates your nominal account and customer account balances.
The Sales Order status only changes to Completed when the order is posted.
How to post sales orders and credit notes
- From the Sales Orders List, click
Post. - Choose whether to post invoices and credit notes, just invoices or just credit notes.
- Use the options to choose what to post.
- Click Post.
