Add a new sales order template

To enter template details

Open: Sales Order Processing > Sales Orders > Repeat Order Templates.

  1. Click New.

  2. On the Template Details tab, enter a Description for the template.

  3. Select the customer account in Account Selection.

    Note: If customer alerts have been set up for this customer account and document type, they'll be displayed before you continue. To view the alert messages again, click the alert icon next to the customer account. See Customer alerts.

  4. Enter the Repeat frequency of the order:

    • Frequency: Enter the frequency of the template.

      Select whether the frequency is in Days, Weeks, Months or Years from the drop-down list.

    • Start date: Enter the start date for the template.

    • Repeat on day: Enter the date of the month the order should repeat.

  5. Enter the Template expiry details.

    • Repeat indefinitely: Select this if you do not want to template to expire.

    • Expire on date: Select this if you want the template to expire on a certain date.

      Enter the expiry date for the template.

    • Expire on maximum number of uses: Select this if you want the template to expire after it has been used a specified number of times.

      Enter the number of times you want to use the template.

  6. To continue entering the template details, select the Order Details tab.

  7. To save the template, click Save.
