Non-chargeable time categories

This feature is used with: Works Orders.

You can set up categories for time that is not chargeable in manufacturing jobs, e.g. training or downtime. These categories are used with the Timesheets option in Works Order Processing. When you enter timesheets In Manufacturing, timesheets are used to post times and costs to jobs. information, you can record time against these categories, if required. You can also produce reports to analyse non-chargeable time Time which does not directly apply to any job and therefore cannot be charged to a works order. bookings, by date or non-chargeable reference code.

To enter or amend non-chargeable time categories

Open: Manufacturing System Manager > Non-Chargeable Time > Records > Enter New Record.

Open: Manufacturing System Manager > Non-Chargeable Time > Records > Amend Record.

  1. Enter a reference for a new record or select an existing record from the Reference drop-down list.

  2. Enter or amend the description.

  3. Enter or amend notes in the Memo box. You can enter an unlimited amount of text.

  4. To save the record, click Save.

To delete non-chargeable time categories

Open: Manufacturing System Manager > Non-Chargeable Time > Records > Amend Record.

  1. Select the record you want to delete from the Reference drop-down list.

  2. Click Delete.

  3. Click Yes at the prompt to confirm that you want to delete the category.

    The category is deleted.
