Credit bureaus
If your business regularly uses a credit bureau (credit reference agency) to assess your customer credit risk, you can set these up as a credit bureau. You can then quickly check a customer's credit status with this bureau, when you enter or view a customer account.
What do you want to do?
Open: Accounting System Manager > Settings > Credit Information | Credit Bureaus.
- Click Add.
- Enter the Bureau Name.
- Enter the Bureau Web Site.
- If you want to go straight to the credit checking page of the bureau's website when you launch it, enter the URL in the Checking URL column. For example, you can launch the website from the Customer Record window.
- To set the bureau to appear by default on customer and supplier records, click Set as Default.
-
Click Yes to confirm that you want to set the bureau as the default.
Once you have confirmed the default credit bureau, a Yes appears next to your selection.
Note: You can change the default at any time, but you can only have one default bureau selected at any one time. The default is selected for new customer and supplier accounts only.
