Print orders and returns
You can print your sales orders from the Sales Orders List.
Open: Sales Orders > Sales Order list, select the order and click Print > Order.
Print invoices and credit notes
When you're ready to create invoices and credit notes from your sales orders and returns, you can print them from the Sales Orders List.
Open: Sales Orders > Sales Order list, select the invoice or credit note, then click Print > Invoice / Credit Note.
Invoices are created from any despatched lines on the sales order you choose to print. In the same way, credit notes are created from any received lines on returns.
Copies of invoices can be produced by reprinting the invoice. You can also change the customer's address on the copy invoice. To do this from the Sales Order List, click the Print > Reprint invoice or Reprint Credit Note options.
Foreign currency invoices and credit notes
Additionally for foreign currency invoices and credit note, you can change the exchange rate used when printing. This is to make sure that fluctuations in exchange rates are taken into account.
Sage 200 uses the exchange rate set when the invoice or credit note is printed to convert the values to base currency when the invoice or credit is posted. this may be different to the exchange rate used when the order or return was created.
Document layouts
The appearance of your orders, invoices and credit notes is determined by a set of layout files that we provide. Typically, we provide two default layouts: one for single sheets and one for continuous printing.
If you need to, you can customise the layout to suit your business, such as adding your company logo. You can:
- Change the text appearance, font and size.
- Change margin, borders, columns.
- Add or remove data fields.
- Email documents to the contact email address set on customer accounts.
For invoices and credit notes, you can create different layouts to be used with different customers. Once you've created a new layout, you add it to Sage 200 and then associate with a customer account.
