Set user properties
You can set which parts of Sage 200 the user can access. You can also see the last time the user was logged on.
Set general properties
Open: System Administration > Users.

Double-click the user's System name name, or right-click the user and choose Properties.

Select the General tab.

Set the user properties as follows.
User Enabled
This makes the user account active and allows the user to log in to Sage 200.
Note: You cannot enable a user if the user has been removed from the Sage 200 active directory groups in Windows.
Can Edit Menu
This allows the user to edit their menu in the Sage 200 desktop.
Can Edit Workspaces
This allows the user to edit workspaces using the Workspace Designer in the Sage 200 desktop. The user can edit any workspaces that their role allows them to access.
Changes to workspaces made in the Workspace Designer affect the workspace for all users, so might want to restrict who can do this.
Receive Notifications by Email
Set this option if the user wants to receive email messages when:

Purchase orders require authorisation. This sends an email to the authoriser and originator of any purchase orders that need authorisation.

Purchase requisitions require your authorisation, or your requisitions have been approved or rejected.

Changes have been made to the bank details for supplier accounts.

You must also enter the user's email address on the Details tab.
In Product Survey Enabled
This displays the In Product survey for this user. If you don't want specific users to complete the survey, then clear this check box.
If you want to disable the online survey message for all users, select Disable In Product Survey in the System Administration Work area.
Is Web User
Select Is Web User for a user to allow them to access features of Sage 200 using a web browser, such as:

Web Portal.
-
Self Service web app for workspaces and reports.

Web timesheets and expenses (WTE).

Authorise purchase orders via a web browser.
A user will still only be able to access those options that they are authorised to access via their role.
Once all your web user licenses have been assigned, you won't be able to select this for another user. You need to remove the web access from a different user first.
