Create and amend price bands

Note: Limited price bands are available if you have selected Enable limited price bands in Price Book default settings.

A price band is price list. Each price band contains the prices of your stock items. Each price band is linked to your customer accounts and this determines the price your customer receives for each stock item.

Create price bands

Open: Price Book > Price Bands > Maintain Price Bands.

Every price band must have a Name.

To link and unlink customers

  1. Select any price band (except the Standard price band).
  2. Click Link to Customers.

Delete a price band

  • For Universal prices bands, any customers linked to this price band are removed and added back to the Standard price band.
  • The price on existing sales order or invoices will remain the same.
  • If you change an existing order or invoice, increase or decrease the quantity for example, then the new price will be used. This will be the price from the Standard price band unless you've linked the customer to a different price band. If the customer is already linked to a different Limited price band, then this Limited price will be used.

Open: Price Book > Price Bands > Maintain Price Bands.

  1. Select the price band.
  2. Click Delete.
