Find an item price for a customer

Use this to find the price and discount available to a customer for a quantity of a standard stock item.

Open: Sales Orders > Enquiries > Customer Price Enquiry.

  1. Select the Customer.

    Note: If customer alerts have been set up for this customer account and document type, they'll be displayed before you continue. To view the alert messages again, select the View Alerts button next to the customer account. See Customer alerts.

  2. Select the Stock item.
  3. Enter the required item Quantity.
  4. If the item uses trading units, select the required Selling unit and Pricing unit.
  5. The Selling prices shows the currency, price and discount figures for the stock item and quantity.

    Note: The price and discount displayed for a foreign currency customer account may be subject to variation due to exchange rate fluctuations.

Set user access for Customer Price Enquiry

You can set user access for Customer Price Enquiry in the Sage 200 desktop.

Open: Settings > Organisational and Financial > User Access.

  1. When you set access for a user, browse to the features in Sales Order Processing > Basic.
  2. There will be three features with the same name of Customer Price Enquiry, so to choose the correct one:
    • The first feature gives access to Customer Price Enquiry in the Web Portal, and also to Customer Price Enquiry in Sales Orders in the Sage 200 desktop.
    • The second feature gives access to Customer Price Enquiry in Settings > Price Book in the Sage 200 desktop.

    • The third feature gives access to Customer Price Enquiry in Invoicing in the Sage 200 desktop.
