Open: Purchase Ledger > Purchase Accounts > New Supplier

Open: Purchase Ledger > Purchase Accounts > Amend Supplier

  • Use the Credit tab to enter credit reference information for the supplier.

Credit Review

Use this to keep a record of the dates when the supplier applies for credit, and when their credit status is reviewed.

These dates are used for your information only.

Credit Terms

Check a supplier's credit status

You can check the credit status of a supplier with a credit bureau (credit reference agency).

  1. Select the Credit bureau for the credit check.

  2. Enter the Credit reference for this supplier.
  3. To check the supplier on the credit agency's website, select the Link button link button next to the Credit reference.

    Note: The Link button link button will only be displayed if you select both a Credit bureau and Credit reference.

  4. If a supplier's credit status has changed, you can set their Credit position.

Trading terms

If you want to display your trading terms on invoices, statements and other documents, enter the text in Trading terms.

Terms agreed

Select Terms agreed if all the credit terms have been agreed with the supplier.

If Terms agreed is not selected, then you'll see a message each time you enter a transaction for this supplier.

Memo

Use the Memo to add any notes about this supplier's credit position.
