How to

View nominal account transactions

Open: Nominal Ledger > Nominal Enquiries > Nominal Transaction Enquiry

Select the nominal account Code.
A list of transactions for the account are displayed.
Tips for using the list
- Search for items by typing in the box at the top of a column.
- Use filters to show items that contain particular text or a range of values.
  - To filter a column, select the filter button in the column heading, or select the filter button from the menu in the column header.
  - If you want to filter by a date, use the filter button from the menu in the column header.
- Sort the list by selecting the column heading. Select the heading once to sort in ascending order, and select it again to sort in descending order.
- To add or remove columns, select the menu button in the column header, then select the columns button.
- To pin a column, select the menu button in the column header, then select Pin Column and choose the column.
- To move a column, select and hold the column heading, then drag it to a new position.
Note: You'll not see the menu button in the column header until you either: hover over the column heading with a mouse, press and hold the column heading on a touch screen, or navigate to the column heading using a keyboard Tab key (use Ctrl + Enter to open the menu).
Select a transaction to see more details on the tabs:
- Associated nominal: Shows the details of any other nominal transactions that are associated (by URN The unique reference number assigned to a complete transaction to assist in tracing the progress of the transaction through Sage 200. This number is 12 digits long and comprises of: 3 digits for the user number, 2 digits for the source module in which the transaction was created, and a 7 digit sequential reference number.) with the selected transaction. (For example, a Debtors Control transaction will usually have an associated Sales Account transaction). These will be in base currency.
  
  Note: You can only view Transaction Analysis details if you have enabled Allow additional transactional analysis in Nominal Ledger Settings (in the Sage 200 desktop).
- Bank: Shows any Cash Book transactions associated with the selected nominal transaction. These will be in the operating currency of the bank.
- VAT: Shows the VAT transactions associated with the transaction. These will be in the base currency.
- Trader transactions: Shows the trader (customer or supplier) transactions associated with the transaction. These will be in the operating currency of the trader.
