Assign users to a role

About assigning users

Use the Users tab to manage users for the role A role describes the areas in which users will work normally, e.g. purchase clerk. Roles provide users with access to system features..

Roles can also be assigned to users through the user properties window. You must assign at least one role to the user before the user can log on to Sage 200.

To assign users to a role

Open: System Administration > Roles.

  1. Right-click the Role Name and choose Properties.
  2. Select the Users tab.
  3. Assign users.

    • To assign one or more users, select the users from the All Users list and click >.
    • To assign all users, click >>.
  4. Click OK to confirm the assigned users.
