Logging

This option determines the level of logging output from the server. By default, the system is set to provide an appropriate level of logging output.

Note: Only change this under the guidance of your Sage Support Provider.

To set the logging level

Open: System Administration > Logging.

  • Select the Level of logging required from the drop-down list.

    Fatal

    Outputs fatal messages.

    Error

    Outputs error and fatal messages.

    Warn

    Outputs warning and error messages.

    Info

    Outputs warnings, error and information messages.

    Debug

    Outputs debugging and tracing messages.

Where can I find the log files?

The server log files can be found in these folders:

  • Sage 200 Secured Services: C:\inetpub\Sage 200 App Services\Sage200SecuredServices\Log\Sage200SecuredServices.log

  • Sage 200 Services: C:\inetpub\Sage 200 App Services\Sage200Services\Log\Sage200Services.log

  • Sage 200 API: C:\inetpub\Sage 200 App Services\Sage200NativeAPI\Log\Sage200NativeAPI.log

  • Self Service app: C:\inetpub\Sage 200 Self Service\Sage200SelfService\Log\Sage200SelfService.log

  • Web Portal app: C:\inetpub\Sage 200 Self Service\Sage200WebPortal\Log\Sage200WebPortal.log
