Licence

You must register Sage 200 before you can use it. Your licence defines your entitlement to use modules and number of users.

The screen shows:

  • Licensing File Information.

    This is information about your licence, for example, the date when it was last fetched.

  • Licensing Information.

    This is information about your software version, such as the dates the licence is valid for, and the number of users and web users.

    Note: A web user has access to the Self Service web app and can access workspaces, web timesheets and expenses, and can authorise purchase orders via a browser.

  • Sage 200 Modules.

    A list of modules you are entitled to use is provided.

  • Sage 200 Analytics.

    We want to involve you in continuously improving the Sage 200 user experience.

    • Select Allow collection of usage data if you want to opt in and allow us to collect anonymous data about your usage of Sage 200.

      We will not collect your accounting or personal data. We will only use the information collected to help us to improve Sage 200 and your experience of it.

    • Clear Allow collection of usage data if you want to opt out.

      If you opt out, you can opt in again at any time.

Download or refresh your licence

Note - information

This is only applicable to Sage 200 Professional deployed on-premise.

  • To download a new licence, click Download new licence.
  • If your server does not have an internet connection you can also generate a licence file, by selecting Action > Generate Licence Request.

    Note - warning

    Offline activations provide a 30 day window in which to gain access to the online licence server. If access to the online licence server cannot be gained within 30 days, you will need to have a new offline activation generated every 30 days and the following message will appear: The Sage Licence will expire in 7 days because the entitlement server has been unavailable for 28 days.
