Maintain time units
This feature is used with: BOM
Sage 200 deals with time as hours, minutes and seconds. However, people in your business may prefer to use the time units they have always used, for example a shift or production run.
Use Time Units to define these units with their equivalent in hours, minutes and seconds. Then you can select the time unit you want, when creating BOMs and resource records.
The default time unit provided is the Hour. This time unit is fixed and you cannot change it or delete it.
When you enter cost rates for labour, machine or tool resources (or for operations), the default time unit (Hour) is automatically selected. You can select any other time unit you have set up here.
Note: If you select Piece work on a Labour record, cost by time is not used, as quantity is used instead.
